Last week, my son and I were reading about weather. One thing new he learned was about the water cycle. He was intrigued about the whole process, so I went ahead and created a labeling activity for him. [I originally at it posted on my other website, A Mommy Talks, but decided it was a better fit here.]
This was a fun little addition to our reading because he learned some new “big words” and let’s face it…he loves glue.
On another note, I find it very odd that the books we are reading don’t mention the actual terms evaporation, condensation, or precipitation. I realize they are big terms, but a little vocabulary never hurt anyone. Hopefully, this visual will help him retain these new BIG WORDS.
