Here are the activities in our Ocean Unit and how they look in action! This gives you a little heads up on what to expect. Also below is our new Grab and Gather list! This list will let you know the items that you need to “Grab” (go out and buy) or “Gather” (find and set aside) to complete the lessons in our unit. We hope it helps you out!

DAY 1:
- Cheerios
- Glue Stick and/or White Glue
- Blue Construction Paper (two shades)
- Googly Eyes (or draw them on with a marker)
- Letter O template
- Goldfish crackers
- Goldfish Measure Printable
- A plastic shoe box or small tub
- Tap water
- Sea Salt (you can use table salt, but it will require about 1/4 cup)
- Various small children’s toys to sink and float
DAY 2:
- Wooden stick, or dowel rod
- Piece of String
- A Magnet
- Letter Fish (Template here if you need it)
- Marker
- Sea Shadow Match Printable
- Clear plastic soda or water bottle
- Baby Oil (recommended) or Vegetable Oil
- Blue Food Coloring
- Tap Water
DAY 3:
- Ziploc Bag
- Blue Paint (you can also use vanilla pudding or shaving cream dyed with food coloring)
- Play-dough
- Number Cards
- Toothpicks
- Ocean Tot Book from 1+1+1=1
