Tot School- Week of Nov 9th

Lil’man is 23 months
Tot School

This week in Tot School, we did some activities related to turkeys. One particular activity that Lil’man loved and pulled out several times was our Colorful Turkey. He grew very fond of this turkey and would sometimes kiss it.

Besides playing with new stuff, Lil’man decided to play with his cars this week.  He is so funny.  He goes through phases where he loves to play with his cars all the time and then others that he’s totally not interested in them at all.  He still hasn’t really gotten into the car mat that I brought for him to use during Tot School, but I am sure he will love it one day.

This week for our stART activity we read Run, Turkey, Run! and created a turkey headdress.  As we read the story, he pretended to be the turkey and wore his headdress.  He wasn’t thrilled to wear it for a long period of time, but he did show off his acting skills when his daddy got home.

On our second day of Tot School (we only do 2 days a week) we had visitors.  Lil’man enjoyed showing off his new activities as well as pulling out some old, but favorites. We also put on a little show of Run, Turkey, Run! Each of them took turns being the farmer and the turkey.  However, I think their favorite activity was putting on the cooking show.  Boy, did they make some delicious blue potato soup!  I should know!  They wouldn’t stop pushing the spoon into my mouth.  I couldn’t get enough!

We had a lot of fun this week and Lil’man really enjoyed playing with the bigger kids.  Don’t forget to come back next week to check out what we’ve been up to. If you would like to see what other tots did this week visit 1+1+1=1.

(On a seperate note: Don’t miss out on my current giveaway, which is perfect for kiddos between 2-5 years old.)

You know, I meant to leave a comment on Colorful Turkey and realized that I never clicked, “Publish.” Ha!

But yes, I absolutely love that little guy!! I have all the materials to make it, aside from more hot glue sticks. 🙂 I think Maddie would really love it and he’s so cute, too!

Glad you guys had a fun week!!

He is just the cutest, smiliest little guy!!!

The colorful turkey intrigues me. I’d love to try it with Kayleigh but I have a pretty good idea that she’d just tear it up. I might give it a go anyway because I think I have everything I need here to make it.
