3 Ways to Include Your Toddler in Your Homeschool Day

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .
Homeschooling with a toddler is hard, but with these 3 simple steps you can include your toddler in your homeschool day.

One of the greatest challenges in homeschooling is learning how to balance your time and attention between your children. This is even more difficult when you have preschool age children and younger running around. With a second grader hungry to learn and a toddler who doesn’t want to miss out on the fun I had […]

Homemade Valentines

This year for Valentine’s Day I decided to use a technique that we used last year for our  St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock. We created our own unique paper with this “painting method.” All it took was a little vinegar, cardstock and various shades of pink and red tissue paper.  Lil’man placed tissue paper on the […]

Potty Training- The Day I Lost it!

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .

STOP MOVING!  I was hot and getting hotter with every squirm. If you recall from this potty post, I briefly stated that we returned to pull-ups after trying cloth training pants…the story I’m about to share was the major factor in that decision. The boy had been very successful, at the time, keeping his pants […]

Lil’man is 37 months.   MIA. Yep.  This blog was on the back burner last week.  I didn’t post anything.  I may have posted at the end of the week, but unfortunately my computer was hit with a virus.  Fortunately, my virus protection caught it and after running a few more test (which took forever!) […]

Potty Training- The Light Went Out

It was the beginning of the end.  My potty problem was solved.  All that I had to do was put my potty plan into action.  If only, it had been that simple. When we first started cloth training pants, I just knew it would turn my diaper wearing tot into a potty using boy.  He […]

You all, it is so important to do everything you c You all, it is so important to do everything you can to make sure to maintain your health and your family's too this season. My family and I always take proactive steps in the winter. Honestly, the steps we have taken in the past have kept my family healthy and we rarely get sick. This year we are adding some extra things to help support our immune system. I've had several people asked me what I'm doing, so a few of my friends and I are actually going to have a little sharing session this Wednesday night (8:15 EST). We will be sharing all the ways we stay proactive with our health, especially in the winter. We'll have some practical tips, as well as some, must-haves to keep on hand to help your family stay above that wellness line. It's happening this Wednesday (11/18) at 8:15 pm EST. Let me know if you want in and I will get you the dets. We will be talking about essential oils, but there are so many other things we do as well. We will have a packet for everyone that comes, so you won't have to worry about your hand cramping from all the notes you'll want to write down!
You all, I can't believe it is November! However, You all, I can't believe it is November! However, I'm so glad it is because I am tired of all the crazy this year and I need to change my attitude! I'm going to be intentional this month and practice gratitude. Here's the thing, I think you should join me because research studies show that finding a bit of thankfulness each day can actually increase your happiness level and decrease depression!! It also increases physical health (hello cold & flu season), brain function, and a sense of fulfillment. I know, with everything going on in the world right now I could use a little more of ALL of that! So, who's with me? What are you thankful for today? 🍂Today I am thankful for the colorful fall leaves swirling by my windows. 🍂

I love this reminder from the Lord! Last week was I love this reminder from the Lord! Last week was our first week back to homeschool. And I think it is safe to say that we all dealt with an array of emotions that week. I had to give myself a timeout the first day!! So, this reminder is perfect as we begin this week After evaluating how things went I can see that it was my thoughts and attitude that was the ultimate cause of my feelings of frustration and irritation. Things weren’t going the way I had planned. I mean, let’s be honest this year isn’t really going as any of us have planned. Am I right? Here’s the thing, we have a choice in how we think, and since our thoughts affect our emotions, we have a choice in how we feel. But praise the Lord we don’t have to let our circumstances dictate our attitude or the the way we think! WHO ELSE NEEDS THE SPIRIT TO RENEW THEIR THOUGHTS AND ATTITUDE THIS WEEK? #allthefeels #scripture4atm #mommymeltdown #bibleverseoftheday #homeschoolmom #backtoschool #attitudeiseverything #emotionsresetchallenge #joycomesinthemorning #whatwefocusongrows #gratitudeattitude
