I think I can speak for the majority when I say, I won't be traveling with my kiddos through space anytime soon. However, that doesn't mean we can't bring planets, stars, meteors, and the rest of our galaxy to them. You can take your preschooler and tot on a space exploration too with my space printables.
All my printables are in one easy download. Just click the unit image to download a single zipped file of all the printables. You will need to be able to view pop-ups to download the unit, as it will appear in a popup window from my site!

Thanks for this awesome unit! We are just about to do some learing about space in a week or so, so this is very timely. I appreciate your hard work!
My son’s favorite topic. This sounds like a great introduction to space for little ones.
I love how these activites are so fun, yet very goal oriented…not full of fluff! Thank you for sharing the hard work and my children thank you too!
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful printables! I was just updating my space posts and added your link to https://livingmontessorinow.com/2011/01/10/activity-of-the-week-abc-letter-box-and-astronaut-unit/
some friends & i are doing a summer camp for our kids, and i have the last week! this is soooo perfect, so thank you so much! amazing.
i am crazy for this. thank you.
Ah, the great pluto debate… We are currently doing a space unit and use some of your printables 🙂
I love the size sort because it has photographs of the planets (my husband says you used an infra red picture of venus?) and my son can actually sort them in the correct order from the sun outward already – he’s five! How cool is that?
So thank you very much for helping me prepare our first unit study – you have made this really easy for me!
(I’m not the biggest fan of the planets colors in the shadow match game – but I don’t have to use it :-))
Thank you,
Vee from Vienna, Austria
where can i find the shadow matching print out?
The shadow activity is the Space Preschool Pack. Head to this page – https://ateachingmommy.com/2012/02/space-expanded/ Then click on the square space image. It will take you to google drive where you can download the zipped pack. Once you download it, unzip it. You should be able to print it out from there. Let me know if you run into any more problems.
