Space Books

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .

This week we are learning all about space. We will be focusing each day on one of the following: stars, planets, and the moon.

Unfortunately, my local library didn’t have a lot of choices when it came to space books for tots and preschoolers. So, I’ve complied some books I’ve found through Amazon. I can’t guarantee these books will be great, but at least it will give you an idea of what to look for at your local library. Hopefully, you’ll have a better selection than we did. {fingers crossed}

If you can offer any feedback about the books above or if you have any book suggestions that aren’t listed, please leave a comment below. I know others, including myself would appreciate it. Thanks.

    We have ‘On The Moon’ and “If You Decide To Go To The Moon’. On the Moon is perfect for this age group. Short and to the point with great pictures. If You Decide To Go To The Moon is much much longer with a full paragraph on each page. My 4 year old can barely sit through it at this point. It’s very detailed and I really enjoy it, but definitely for the older end of the age group.

    There is a great series of books by Franklyn M. Branley. I found them at our library. They are really cool and have an experiment or two mixed in.
