Some more ideas…

We know that if you are anything like us, you are looking for something to keep the kiddos entertained while you prepare for all of those holiday guests to start pouring in. Here are some last minute, easy prep, Thanksgiving Activities.

For the busy mommy:

imageOk, so one of our favorite sites for getting ideas is Making Learning Fun.  If you are looking for something quick to just print and color I suggest looking here.  They have some great Thanksgiving Color Pages you can print.  image

If you are wanting your tots to make a useful craft, try these printable place cards from Danielle’s Place.

For the holiday traveling mommy:

image Life with My Giggly Girls has a great lapbook for your older kiddos.  There are even 3 different folders you can make!  How great would that be for a long car ride to Grandmas?!!

image If you have younger tots, check out our Thanksgiving totbook.  You can read about it here!

If your stuck in the car you can also play your own version of the ABC game with a Thanksgiving theme.  Each person takes a letter and says what they are thankful for, but it has to start with the next letter of the alphabet (e.g “I am thankful for America.”  “I am thankful for basketball.”)  Even little ones could play this game with some help.

For the mommy with time to spare:

imageFrom Disney’s Family Fun Site comes this cute as a button place card.  The turkey is made with your child’s fingerprints and stamp ink!

image If your looking for some other great table ware your tot can help create, you can try these Turkey Napkin Rings from Danielle’s Place.

imageYou could also make this What I’m Thankful For! Turkey from Preschool Learning and Crafts.
