Well, there is no snow and ice yet in our neck of the woods. Apparently that is the case with most of the country though! I heard today that parts of Texas have had more snow this season than Buffalo, New York! Talk about crazy! So you won’t likely be counting any real snowflakes for awhile this Snowflake Counting Book might fill in the gap!
Here are also two magnet pages for you! This unit is really letter intensive…we are working with SNOW and ICE. All the same, you can use these pages to work on letter recognition and beginning letter sounds!
Wondering how to use magnet pages? Check out this FAQ post and it will help you out!

I absolutely ADORE your site and thank you for giving me a lot of inspiration and ideas on helping my soon to be 2 year old have fun while learning. My question comes in the terms of .. how do you file all this “stuff” on your computer so that you can find it again? Saving it duplicate spaces probably wouldn’t be smart since it will eventually eat up lots of memory. Do you sort it by grade/age or theme or counting or winter or snow?
Thanks so much for the compliments! They are really encouraging for us both! In regards to your question, I file everything by theme in separate folders on my computer. Everything right now is for preschool, but I will likely put those categories into graded subcategories for each theme. So far space hasn’t been a problem, but I can see how it might be one day. We have an external hard drive, so I might use that, or I might get some inexpensive thumb drives and put a grade of curriculum on each of them and then label the drive. I have done that with other things and it keeps it pretty organized!
Great site! Thanks for the ideas!
