We no longer seem to find scarecrows standing guard in cornfields and backyard gardens, but they were once a trademark of farming and rural life. While these puffed-up pretenders used to have the important job of protecting crops near harvest time from pesky grazers, today they’re most known for ushering in the fall season. Fall is by far my favorite season so for that reason scarecrows are a welcome sight. Grab these FREE Scarecrow printables for your kiddo this fall.
