Overall Thoughts
I have been a big fan of Crystal Paine, since following her blog Money Saving Mom.  So, I was very excited to get my hands on her new book.  This book has a lot of information that was a good reminder for me.  The first six chapters cover areas that are often the topic of conversation around my friends and several chapter topics Crystal has touched on in a post on her blog.  So, for me there wasn’t anything new that I hadn’t already heard, either from Crystal or the sources she cited in her book.

However, it was the last four chapters that I needed to hear, and will definitely need to be reminded of as time goes on.  I can’t speak for other moms out there, but I often struggle with feelings of failure, not keeping my health a priority and knowing how I can make a difference when there’s no time left in the day. These last few chapters offer encouragement, creative ways to bless others, and ways to “plug in” to recharge areas of your life that you may have been neglecting.   Plus, each chapter ends with a “get practical” application for you to start putting what you read into practice. All in all, it was a good read and one that I’ll definitely keep on my shelf to revisit.
