Review- Costume Supercenter.com

I was asked by Costume Supercenter.com to write a fair and honest review of one of their products.  It took me a while to determine which product I wanted because they offered so many options and I was only browsing their infant & toddler section!!!  Thank goodness their website was easy to get around!

It wasn’t hard to narrow down the choices, once I stumbled upon their Animal section.  My son loves animals, especially zoo animals. My three favorite choices were this elephant, monkey and giraffe.  With help from my son, we decided to order a cute little monkey costume!

So, here is my honest opinion of the product we selected.

Cuteness– It’s adorable.  Just look at how cute my boy looks in this monkey costume!  He was so excited to try it on and once it was on, we couldn’t get it off!

This costume had him covered from head (brown plush hood with monkey ears) to toe (shoe covers with plush fur and fleece monkey toes).  Not to mention,  a monkey tail is attached.

Quality–  We were very happy with the quality of the costume.  Here are a few of the things we really liked:

  • Sturdy Construction.  This costume will hold up well over several uses and could easily be handed down to another child.  Of course, we plan to stick it in our costume trunk for pretend play.
  • Fully Lined.  We tend to have cooler weather in October, so I know the boy will stay nice and toasty on a brisk evening of trunk or treating.
  • Fleece & Plush Jumpsuit.  No, getting itchy in this costume!

Cost– I check a variety of other retailers that were selling this same costume and as of last week the average price was $52.93 (before shipping and handling).  So, they aren’t the lowest price available, but they aren’t the highest out there either.

Overall, we are very pleased with the construction of this costume. Though, it was a little more than we would normally spend. However, there were quite a few costumes at a cheaper rate.  So, if you are looking for costumes for Halloween or even a costume party, you might want to check out Costume Supercenter.com.
