At the beginning of this year, we came to you, our fabulous readers, with a special request. We needed your support to help us to get to The Relevant Conference. 
Thanks to your generosity and prayers our fundraiser was a huge success! It would not have been possible without your help. We are stoked to tell you that we were able to raise 75% of the funds we needed to attend the conference!!
Of the 75% of funds raised, we donated $100 to Compassion International. This is how the donation was broken up:
- $65 went to the drought victims in Africa. With this donation Compassion International may provide any one of these things: seven mosquito nets, rice seed to feed an entire family for the whole season, clean water filters, an entire bag of school supplies, first aid kits for families, duck for a family or even an entire family of rabbits.
- The additional $35, which we donated last spring, went to children with highest need at that time.
Amber and I are ecstatic to be able to head to The Relevant Conference this week. We are busy packing and preparing our hearts to what the Lord will teach us through these amazing speakers. Our goal is to seek Him first in all we do. While we are there we hope to learn better ways to serve you and our families, while maintaining a healthy balance.
We look forward to sharing more about the conference with the you after we return.
