With the new year there are always ways we want to improve…whether organizational, physical, relational or even spiritual. One that I know I can always do better in is praying for my husband! So, I wanted to share a couple of great resources that you can get you hands on right now.
Several years ago my friend, Darby set a New Year’s resolution to pray for her husband more. To hold herself accountable, myself and several others were invited along on her journey. Each week we received an email with a devotion and a short prayer for our husbands. Those emails eventually got turned into the book, For the Love of Our Husbands.

Trust me, even without the FREE e-book, you’ll want to start following this blog. Darby’s writing is open, honest and refreshing. She writes about challenges she faces based on her own weaknesses. She also publishes Scripture-based prayers every Thursday specifically for our husbands.
Also, starting TODAY (sorry for the late notice) Ashley Pichea is hosting a 31 Days to Pray for Your Spouse Challenge. The challenge has you spending 5 mins each day of January praying for your husband. This challenge is based off of her e-book, 31 Days to a Better Spouse, which you can grab a copy of, if you’re looking for extra encouragement during the challenge.
