Pick of the Week- Does A Kangaroo Have a Mother, Too?

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .

Buy on AmazonThis has been the boy’s favorite book this week.  If you haven’t read it, the story asks the same question over and over again with a different animal.  Whenever the question is asked Lil’man yells out, “YES!”

It is a wonderful book that shows all different types of animals and their young.  Quite a few of them you could actually visit in the zoo.

Here are a couple links to activities you could do with this book.

  • Scholastic Lesson Plan
  • Watch a Video created by a young class

And even though this Spring Tot Pack by 1+1+1=1 isn’t about the book, it does have some baby animal activities that would go great with it.

What has your child been making you read over and over again this week?

I’m a high school English teacher and mom of four boys. Books and kids are my language!
