Our First Week

Our first week of school is in the books!  We kicked off our school year with a little back to school celebration with friends.

We created a craft with our goal for the year,

completed a first day interview and took a picture with our year in school.

Even the younger kiddos got to participate by creating a shape person with help.

Then we ate lunch and enjoyed a special treat. I saved some time and just had the moms frost their kiddos cupcakes.

As for the rest of the week? Well, we got through it and that is all that counts. Right?  We have a lot to still figure out.  Our schedule for one.  It was very difficult to work with Lil’Man and keep Lil’Bro busy.  He was all over the place.   The first day I tried to sit him at the table with us during our math lesson.  It lasted about 15 minutes going through several different activities.

Definitely a new challenge for me this year.  We’ll figure it out…hopefully before the last week of school.

Any tips?  How do you work with your older kiddos while the tot is up?
