Must See- My Busy Kit

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .

This past week, my family and I went on a long road trip.  On our last road trip, Lil’man fussed and complained the majority of the way.  We even left after dinner in hopes that he would sleep through most of the ride.  Boy was that wishful thinking.  So, this time I had to come up with some other ideas to keep my son entertained for the long road trip.  To start, we gathered a few of his favorite books, stuff animals, CDs and DVDs.  We also ended up buying him quite a few new items to spark his interest while we were driving.  We found some great steals in the $1 section at Target.  Below is a picture of our “busy kit.”

Of course, my life would have been a lot easier and my pocket book a little bit fuller if I had come across this a little bit sooner.

My Busy Kit for Toddlers
My Busy Kit has a “combination of items to spark curiosity and sustain interest over time.”  They include “toys and activities from four main categories: color and draw, play and pretend, create and construct and discovery.”  The other great thing about this product is that it has different kits for different ages.
Don’t these sound fabulous… definitely a MUST HAVE for any road trip.   Check out Raising Itty-Bitty Bookworms to win one of these fabulous Busy Kits for your very own. This giveaway will end Monday October 12th, so don’t miss out.

Oh, I love the way you put the two photos together to compare ‘busy kits’! That is so cool. Very glad the kit is working for you and thank you so much for the gracious write-up!

hmmm, mine won’t sleep in the car either, even if it’s his normal sleepy time! Thanks for the ideas.
