Must Read- Polar Lands

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .

This week we will be learning about the Polar Lands. With the main focus being on the animals.  Below are a couple of our favorites books that we have read, so far:

articOver in the Arctic: Where the Cold Winds Blow Affilation Link. is another rhyming counting story that is model after the tune “Over in the Meadow.” This book is a great introduction for children to the artic habitat. Plus, it also incorporates counting skills! The book illustrations are created with cut paper collages and your kiddos will enjoy trying to find the hidden animals. The book shares 20 different animal species including: the polar bear, the artic hare, snow goose, wolverine, and more. Our family enjoys reading and learning about different habitats with books that follow the “Over in the Meadow” tune.

Buy on Amazon.Animal Babies in Polar LandsAffilation Link. is a great non-fiction book to introduce your child to a different environment. The book uses actual photographs, which is great way to help introduce new animals.  It also provides information about the animal and its mother.  We love this book in our house. I love it because it was simple, yet informational at a preschooler level.  Lil’man loves it because of all the different animals. Lil’man can’t seem to get enough of this book.

Here are all the books we’re reading:
