So, the great thing about movie nights is flexibility. We try and make time each week to sit down and have some type of family time. This week movie night fit in perfect with our theme, the zoo, and with our busy schedule. Do you have a a busy week ahead? Well, then have no fear, because this low key night will be right up your alley. đ
After our regular family dinner (Hamburger Helper, folks!) we went into our living room and flipped on Madagascar.
We watched for a few minutes and when we got to a stopping point E went into the kitchen and helped me make popcorn on the stovetop. Glass-top pans make for a fabulous cooking experience. Daddy helped too, because we needed a spotter for safety while I snapped pics!
We salted it, and added a special ingredient, Natural Butter Flavored Grapeseed oil from Wildtree Foods. Ummm, this stuff is amazing by the way, so I have to give a shout out to my pal Kandi, who recommended it.
We snacked on our popcorn, and to satisfy our sweet tooth, we got some iced animal crackers (to fit our zoo theme) and settled in for the second half of the movie.
Here are some more movies that you can watch. Remember to preview the movie to see whether or not its right for your tot.
The important thing any of the family or theme nights is just to spend time together as a family. Donât get stressed about the details, just settle in a watch a movie or play a game. You donât need a grand production to make some wonderful memories.
Hope you guys have a GREAT family night.
