A Lesson Plan

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .

When we began putting units together last year we included lesson plans.  It was our hope that mommies who were just starting their homeschool adventures could use them and not be overwhelmed with details.  This year, when we moved to expanding our units, we opted not to include a lesson plan but to give mommies a variety of activities focusing on key learning concepts.

Many of you have e-mailed saying you miss those plans!  It is for you that I offer this. Just click on the image to print it.

Now this is a BLANK LESSON FORM that you can print off and use to plan your week!   It also happens to be what I use. (Note: You may also download a 5 Day Lesson Plan HERE!!)

A couple of things you should note:

  • There are only 3 days.  That’s because in our house, we only do three days!
  • Extras don’t have to be done, or they can be done on a different day then your lessons.
  • Each activity we make is meant to work on a key concept.  We offer activities in each unit to work on them all, and you should aim for using something to cover them all in a teaching week.
  • The 3 days don’t have to be done consecutively.

To give you an idea of what to do with a unit I am sharing my Halloween Lesson Plan using our printables and our extra posts.  It should give you an idea on how you can fill the plan out each week!  Just click on the image to print it.

I hope these prove to be helpful for some of you!

Amber, I know you’re busy with your family and all, but would you please be able to make a 5 day week lesson plan sheet???…I love the format that you have, but, being that I work in a center 5 days a week, I need a sheet with 5 days…if not, I truly understand, and i love all the work that you 2 teaching mommies do!!!

It just seems to work best for us right now!  We sometimes will do things on other days, but the structure helps me immensely!

Thank you for sharing, great to see how others organize their days. We do a three day week as well with my 23 month old.

We are currently in the process of moving all our printables to Google Drive. Unfortunately, Amber has the lesson plan printables, so I’ve forwarded her your message.

Thank you so much for your patience.
