This year we are using WriteShop for writing. In one of our lessons, in Book A, we were encouraged to make a book, My Garden of Rhyming Words. The book is a way to introduce you child to word families for the purpose of writing poetry using rhyming words. The rhyming book they suggests is adorable and creative, but this mama just didn’t have the time to draw and cut out all those flower petals. So, instead our book is My Neighborhood of Rhyming Words.
Just print these 12 sheets off and add them to a 3-prong folder to create your very own book of rhyming words.
