Forest Animal Crafts

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .

Our next unit will look at the forest and the animals that live there.  We talk about a couple of animals in our unit, and if there is one thing that E loves, its animals.  Because of that, we are going to try our hand at making a couple of these crafts that happen to involve some of the animals we will be talking about.

I have put several on our Pintrest Board, but here are a couple of my favorites!

The Owl:  image

This Owl Shape Craft from DLTK will not only get you a really cute result, it will also help your kiddo review and learn their shapes!

The Squirrel:

image I found this Pinecone Squirrel craft over at the Crafty Crow!  How cute is this!  Some pipe cleaners, pom pom’s, and googly eyes-how easy, and cute!

The Moose:
image I laughed out load at this craft.  It is really called “Moose Bag”.  It is cute though, and you find the details and the templates needed to make it over at Danielle’s Place.  Just scroll down some to see the directions!

The Raccoon:

image This raccoon finger puppet is made out of pipe cleaners!  There is actually a whole set of them over at Craft Junior, including a squirrel, and an owl.  We will be making these!

The Skunk:

image This skunk from over at Family Fun is intended to be made out of clay, but I am pretty sure you can take the instructions and make it out of play dough!

The Bear:

image Last, but not least, we have the bear.  This Paper Plate Bear looks like it might be for all you mommies out there who craft no further than markers, construction paper, and glue!

Let us know if you have any other great crafting ideas for this theme!
