We have been distracted with family happenings, so I haven’t been able to gather a variety of ideas for you, but below you will see our St. Patrick’s Day Family Theme Night from last year. Hopefully, it will spark some ideas for you.
Game: Pot of Gold Hunt. For this activity we purchased the chocolate coins
Art-n-Craft: M&M Rainbow (found my inspiration here). First we sorted out the colors then Lil’man glued them on to the corresponding color in the rainbow.
Music & Dance: Irish Jig! After striking it rich, we had to celebrate by doing an Irish Jig. So, we popped in some Celtic
Food: Mint Chip Ice Cream. I am not a big fan of some of the Irish main dishes, so we settled for something green for dessert!
For Fun: To end the evening we enjoyed a green bubble bath. (Not the best picture, but you get the idea.
These are such fun ideas! You are such a magical mommy! Thanks for inspiring so many!!!
What great ideas! I love that you played Irish music.
Love the Irish jig! We have been using your clover leaf letter match a great deal this week! Thanks so much! Hoping to include it in a Tot School post. Truly appreciate it! Kerri
My son had a lot of fun getting his jig on.
