Football Colors and Counting

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy .

E is really loving three things right now: coloring, counting, and mazes.  The latter I blame on Jolanthe over at Homeschool Creations because her packs have really cute (and more challenging) mazes than ours.  The first two though, that is something that I can take care of!

I saw some worksheets somewhere (they were in a book, but I don’t remember where) that I really liked.  Of course on sight I thought “You know, I could totally make those!”  I chatted with Madonna about the thought and we decided to table it for later.  Later has come!  This football counting book goes all the way to 20.  You can count, color, and trace your way to learning!

And, because the Turkey Color Books went over really well, I made one for football jerseys!

I think I might take these with us next week to Mimi’s for Thanksgiving.  I know E is turkey’d and pilgrim’d out, and I think this theme might entertain her until the turkey’s tryptophan kicks in and I enjoy her nap time!

Yay! This is perfect!  My 2 year old is talking non-stop about how he is going to play football with Opa on Thanksgiving.  This will be a perfect trip activity.  Thank you!
