This chapter was full of suggestions to help you be more confident in your decision to homeschool. It provides several ways you can respond to 5 questions that you’re bound to be asked.For me the section on answering the legislation question was the most helpful. I am aware of my state requirements, but I need to be better aware of state or federal legislation that could affect my rights. I think the whole Romeike family debacle has really open my eyes to making sure our family’s rights are protected. We have yet to join HSLDA, but this chapter makes it really clear why it is an important group to join.
