An Update and Farewell from Amber

Some of you may have wondered “Where in the world has Amber been?”.  As you know Madonna and I have posted before about our crazy years, our changing lives, and our growing families. 

When we began 2 Teaching Mommies a couple of years ago we didn’t know where it would go.  We’ve been overwhelmed and humbled by its growth and by our readers faithfulness and grace.  It has been a true blessing in my life, and I will forever be grateful! That being said, after much prayer and thought, I am turning all things at 2 Teaching Mommies over to Madonna’s capable hands.  All of the content that I contributed to the website will stay on the site!  Now, instead of being written by “2 Teaching Mommies” this site will be written “2 Teaching Mommies”!  

Now, one of the only concerns I have with leaving is that someone somewhere will take my farewell as evidence that Madonna and I are splitsville.  NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!!!  I want everyone to know that this decision was made by me based on what I really feel God leading me to do.  Madonna, God bless her, has been so gracious and supportive of me while I figure out what the heck I’m doing.  For me 2013 hasn’t gone according to plan.  Well, it hasn’t gone according to my plans, but it has gone perfectly along with my Heavenly Fathers.  One of the biggest support systems for me this year has been my sweet friend Madonna.  I have been so blessed to have her as a friend, and when I look back at 2 Teaching Mommies I see her friendship as its lasting legacy in my life.  God is good!  You get to see some of us through the blog, but you truly have no idea what a wonderful person Madonna is.  She is a close and dear friend.  I have full confidence that the future of the website is bright with her at the helm, and I know that God will use it to bless her and her family.  Praise be to Him!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my family and my heart with you all!  You have been a blessing and, who knows?  Our paths may cross again!
